Description
The code C license category allows driving vehicles with a GVM of more than 16,000 kg. Students with a code 3 learner’s license are trained to handle an 18,000 kg (GVM) Mercedes Benz truck. Our program takes learners from intermediate to professional truck drivers, focusing on reverse parking, grade control, and vehicle control on public roads. Continuous assessment and a pre-test ensure students are well-prepared for the NATIS driving test to obtain an SADC driver’s license. Those who obtain a code C license can also drive vehicles with a lesser GVM pulling a double-axle trailer.
