Description
The code C1 (10) license category permits driving vehicles with a GVM of less than 16,000 kg. This program is designed for students with a code 3 learner’s license and focuses on driving a 3550 kg (GVM) Toyota Dyna truck, which shares features with a Bakkie. Training spans from basic to intermediate driving skills, with an emphasis on reverse parking, grade control, and vehicle control on public roads. Like our other programs, students are continuously assessed and undergo a pre-test before the NATIS driving test to obtain an SADC driver’s license. Those who obtain a code C1 license can also drive a Bakkie pulling a double-axle trailer.
